What Does “Communion of saints” Mean in the Bible?
The union of all who belong to Christ. It unites us with those who are being purified and with those who are already in heaven.
It can mean
- Two meanings: sharing in holy things, above all the sacraments, and the union among holy persons.
- Who: we who are on our journey on earth, the dead who are being purified, and the saints in heaven.
Today
That is why we can pray for one another and ask the saints for help.
