Nursia

A place in the history of the Church

A city of Italy, in the mountains of Umbria. St. Benedict was born there.

What happened here

St. Benedict: he was born in Nursia around the year 480. His parents sent him to study in Rome.

Today it is called Norcia, and it is still a city of Italy.
