A city on the west coast of India. It was the main city of the Portuguese in the East.

What happened here

His arrival: St. Francis Xavier arrived in Goa on May 6, 1542. He walked through the streets ringing a little bell to call the children to catechism.
His body: the body of St. Francis Xavier is in Goa, in the church of the Good Jesus (Bom Jesus).

Today it is a state of India.
